This is the simplest recipe for chocolate-covered cranberries. Using only two ingredients, this tasty snack is the perfect treat for winter and an easy DIY Holiday gift.
Melt chocolate chips over a pot of simmering water.
Meanwhile, line a baking sheet with baking parchment. When the chocolate chips are melted, throw cranberries in and stir well to make sure all the pieces are covered in chocolate.
Use a strainer skimmer to fish out the cranberries. Transfer them onto a baking sheet and spread them around, breaking any clusters that might have formed.
When done, place in the fridge for 15 minutes or until the chocolate is set. Take out and break the cranberries into smaller pieces, if needed.
Keep in a Ziploc bag or airtight container in the fridge as the chocolate might start melting slightly when left in a warm room.
Notes
I used dark chocolate chips.
You can use raisins instead of dried cranberries.
To make them more festive, sprinkle chocolate cranberries with shredded coconut before putting them in the fridge.
