Instructions
Cut off the back of each celery stick. Check the photos for reference. This will help the sticks stay in place.
Fill each celery stick with peanut butter. Apply a little bit more peanut butter, where the pretzel sticks will go.
Then, break the pretzels and stick them into the peanut butter.
Add eyes and a nose and repeat until you have used all celery sticks.
Serve right away or shortly after you make them.
Notes
Pat dry the celery with a paper kitchen towel before spreading the peanut butter over. 3 inches = 7.5 centimeters.
Peanut butter can be substituted with hazelnut cocoa spread of your choice. Hummus is also a great alternative, if your kids like it.
For the nose use anything you like: fresh, frozen, dried cranberries, chocolate candies, fresh raspberries or any red-colored button-shaped candy.
I recommend serving these right (or shortly) after you make them to avoid the pretzels going soft. Depending on what you use for the nose, this can also start melting after a while.
