Ingredients:
- Cream cheese
- Greek yogurt – another alternative is sour cream or plain yogurt
- Lemon juice – best to use fresh lemon
- Powdered sugar – you could also try with honey
Tools:
- Electric whisk or food processor – to quickly mix everything. This is recommended but can be done without!
- Fork – If mixing by hand.
- Bowl – When using the whisk or when mixing by hand.
- Knife – to cut the lemon in half.
- Measuring cups and spoons.
Once you gathered all the ingredients, the preparation is simple. Mix everything in a bowl large enough to hold the dip and serve.

- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt, see note 1
- ½ cup cream cheese, softened
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar, see note 2
- ½ fresh lemon, juice only, see note 3
Instructions
- Transfer all the ingredients into a bowl (when mixing with electric whisk or by hand) or food processor.
- Whisk/mix/process until smooth.
- Enjoy with your favorite fruits.
Notes
- Instead of Greek yogurt, you can use plain natural yogurt or sour cream.
- Powdered sugar or confectioner’s sugar (US) is the same as icing sugar (UK).
- About 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. If you find that the dip is too sour to your liking, add more sugar. If too sweet, add more lemon juice.
- This yogurt fruit dip thickens in the fridge and the lemon juice may separate from the thick part. Simply stir before serving.
